Diktor Guide
This guide explains how to use the Diktor dashboard and how to stream safely.
All times are in UTC.
1) Requirements
- Recommended browser: Chrome (desktop or mobile).
- Working microphone.
- Stable connection.
- Headphones recommended.
2) How to stream
Basic flow
- Login.
- Go to assigned events.
- Click Stream for the event you must stream.
- If requested, enable the microphone.
- Select the correct input device.
- Press Start and wait for status "Live".
- Speak.
- When you need a break, or at the end of the event, press Stop.
- To resume, go back to step 6.
3) Stream page statuses
- Ready to start: you can start the stream.
- Connecting: connection in progress.
- Live: the stream is active.
- Stopped: the stream was interrupted.
- Error: microphone or network problem.
4) Safety
- Never share the streaming link.
- Do not open the same link on multiple devices.
Warning: DO NOT start the same stream from two different tabs.
If you want to start from another page or tab, click Stop on the previous one first.
5) Audio quality
- Use headphones with a microphone.
- Avoid background noise (as much as possible).
- If audio seems low, check input level in the operating system.
6) Common issues
The browser doesn't ask for the microphone
- Reload the page.
- Check browser permissions for dopogol.com.
"permission denied" error
- You denied audio permissions.
- Open browser settings and enable the microphone.
"peer connection closed" status
- Indicates a network issue.
- Try switching network (hotspot) or restart the browser.
No one hears my voice
- Check that the status is "Live".
- Verify the selected input.
- Do a short voice test and wait for feedback.
